Acerca del libro
The End of an Era, takes a look into Claire's family history of the farming industry in Autaugaville, Alabama. Over the past 100 years, the farm has grown from just a few acres to over 400 acres today. The once large and diverse farming operation, now consists of a few cotton fields and livestock. The houses that generations of the family grew up in still remains, full of the equipment to fully restore it. However, the family that is currently farming this land is ready to retire and move away from the never-ending work that farms require. With no one in the family willing to take on the farm, it will have to be sold. The house and farm that hold so many family memories will never be restored.
