Acerca del libro
Paul began sailing in the late 1970s crewing in races on Long Island Sound, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket aboard Quetzal, a Sabre 28. When a children's birthday party in Annapolis revealed sailing opportunities close by, Lisa, Claire, and Patrick all took sailing lessons and The Macos began sailing as a family, first on Chesapeake Bay, then in the British Virgin Islands. SCUBA diving soon joined our family repertoire. Lisa's photography has chronicled our times together for several years now, and we hope for many years to come. In this book, we share those times with you.

Lisa Maco
Washington, DC USA
Photographer Lisa Maco explores the varieties of light, geometry, shape, and color nature displays on land and above and below the sea, as well as that found in architecture and design. In her work, Lisa seeks to capture the mood and culture of places near and far on adventure travels with her family. Lisa has been sailing and diving the storied seas of the British Virgin Islands with her family since 2010. Inspired by the beauty of the Islands, she is honing her skills both above and below the water. She plunders and pillages only photographic memories, leaving the natural beauty of the area intact for others to enjoy.
