Acerca del libro
The book is a photo journey, detailing the places where Isaac Tromans is remembered. He was killed in action on the Somme in July 1918, four months before the end of the First World War. From his local church to his unit records and across to Belgium and France, this book records the places where he memory is kept alive. Amazingly, the trench he would have passed through on the day of his death has been restored and maintained and is shown in photographs in the book. Beautifully photographed, with passages of contemporary war poetry, the book is a poignant record of the memory of a beloved brother, son and uncle.
