Acerca del libro
This is the final product of my 2014 New Year’s resolution - one photo, every week. I set out to explore my style and learn how to curate and edit better, but discovered more about my quality bar, aesthetics, and passions along the way. I’m already planning 2015.
“I got into photography a decade ago. I was fascinated by the control you had in transcribing the physical into another medium - at first film, later digital. I've overdeveloped my shutter finger since then, and taken tens or hundreds of thousands of photos, rarely spending enough time curating and editing the best. This year I bought a wide format photo printer and set a New Year's resolution around it: one print, every week. It'll be an opportunity to be highly selective and obsess over the details and style of individual photos. I know I favor contrast and saturation today, but want to see where I end the year after experiencing more of my work in person.” - 1/14
