Acerca del libro
The themes of this small volume include the impact of the 2011 tsunami, earthquake and nuclear disaster in Japan, but more broadly, the excitement and occasional bafflement first experienced when living abroad and crossing cultural boundaries. They also express the equally surprising disorientation that may occur when, after living away, one must leave the new life behind and return 'home'.
This is a volume for anyone who has travelled and lived in a different cultural landscape, then returned to their own country and wondered why it is they feel so out of place.
