While the media spotlight was focused on politics at the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, thousands of protesters and riot police went head to head in the streets of the Midwestern capital city. Mass arrests were made to capture anarchists, but journalists, legal observers and bystanders were also caught in the wide net.
