Acerca del libro
The experiences of a American Infantryman in World War II as he moved across Germany and Czechoslovakia are contained through in images and writings of James H. Duncan, Sr. This book presents a compilation of his own black and white images, and his own words, written in his diary and letters to his family. Rather that focus solely on the destruction of war, most of Duncan's photographs and writings tell the story of the people he met during his time in Europe in the spring of 1945.
