People say a picture worthy a thousand words. I was born and raised in Shanghai, and educated in US. I have interested in art and photography since 70s. In 1983, I purchased first point and shoot camera and enlarge equipment to develop black and white photos at home studio in Shanghai. I took many pictures, but favorite subjects to take pictures of were people, animals and zoo, stage and circus shows. In the mid-1990s I began to take pictures of buildings and city landscapes. I used traditional SLR cameras Minolta 600, 700 and 800. When Canon first generation digital camera G1 came out in the early year 2001, it was a new chapter for every photographer. I was first one right on that. My favorite cityscape places are New York City and Shanghai. My work records the facinate place I have seen and it brings me back the memories again and again. My passion is growing with people, urban culture, and architectural photography.
