A few events in the book include: cooking for a political fundraiser for John Kerry with 300 guests; cooking for his son, Sam's Bar Mitzvah with 150 guests; and cooking for the University Synagogue Pillar dinner with over 100 guests.

This book has PICTURES! Pictures for every dish and technique. And it has recommended menus too. It's well organized and easy to follow. The recipes are delicious. The author really "gets" the best ways to make meats and chicken. I was really inspired by this book to get cooking. Note: I do not know this author or his family and friends, but reading this book made me want to!
