Central to Warren Wilson College's stated mission is the triad of work, service and academics. But this leaves out the fourth, and probably most important, area of student learning at Warren Wilson--social life--the exchange of students with each other in dormitories and in group activities of all kinds including, of course, conversations at work or in class. This book is dedicated to the high priest and chief shaman of Warren Wilson's weekly social life, Dustin Rhodes, who will leave a void when he spirits away to Washington at the end of this school year. With his crew of magical elves and fairies, whose photographs lead off this book, Dustin has created years of rollicking good times, just a sample of which are in these photographs. Weekly, his crew organizes dances, oriental teas, a circus and so much more. In this book there are photographs of, first, the Activities Crew, then of the Halloween Dance, followed by a visit by Santa to the Cowpie Cafe, then the crescendo of the late winter Drag Show and finally, Mayhem, the end of the year work crew parade.
