Acerca del libro
The book is about contemporary Tokyo, as photographed by Paul Mansfield. The book is purely a photography book, with a few of the author’s musings about the Bladerunner-esque experience of being in the Metropolis of Tokyo. Paul, employs mostly old-school 35mm film photography to express the lush colors and tones of the city as well as showing some of the stark contrasts through black and white photography. This book is for anyone who’s fascinated by Tokyo and loves photography.

Paul Mansfield is a professional photographer, living in San Francisco. He has lived in Japan for over 3 years, and travels back often. He likes to take, what he calls, ‘Tokyo Photo Junkets’, where he explores the environs of the Tokyo Metropolitan area, taking notes, photos and collecting cool pop cultural relics and generally has a ball doing it. He’d like to share something of those adventures with you here at Blurb, and in his Tokyo Metro Photo series.
