Acerca del libro
'The Farrier' book has been launched to coincide with the photographic gallery exhibition of the same name. It tells the story of a number of days spent in the cold cold winter of 2013, with Andy - a self employed farrier, working in and around the racing stables and livery yards of Lambourn. The book contains all photographs that make up the complete work, including the photographs selected for the January 2014 exhibition.
The book also includes a preface by Matthew, about the work and a specially written foreword by Richard Hales.

Having failed my Cub Scout Photography badge at the age of eight I then went on to studied photography at the School of Art & Design, University of Derby and graduated in 1996. Concerned primarily with landscape photography, the majority of my photographic works are created specifically for book spaces where narrative works particularly successfully. I view books as galleries, where each turn of the page is akin to moving into a different space.
