Acerca del libro
Eddie and his friends are enrolled in Catholic School, under the merciless care of Brother Mac. Inside the school the rules are strict, and outside the school there are rules as well. Different rules, scrappy, and managed by the boys themselves.
Poverty and restlessness surrounds them all, and the governments that rule over them are brawling just as much as the boys.
Between the various factions of ideology and their Irish historical past, there is a day that is coming to meet them in their late adolescence, which will usher in their adulthood with a shocking finality.
Book one of Part one, follows our characters half-way through their journey to the Irish fates. Part two sees their adolescent lives inexorably seeping into more uncomfortable adult affairs.

Acerca del creador
Edward Noel Doherty was born in Derry, the fourth largest city on the island of Ireland, on the west bank of the River Foyle, and received his early education there, becoming a teacher in Derry for several years before emigrating to Canada. Retiring from a career as an educator, Noel Doherty now uses his time for travel, study, and writing. January 30, 2012 marked the 40th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, and to commemorate the tragedy, he began the trilogy, "Two Eternities". The books are dedicated to all who have died and suffered in the intractable sectarian struggle that has consumed Northern Ireland over the decades. Currently, he is working on the sequel to these first two books: Bloody Sunday - the Boys of Derry, and A Decade of Conflict - the Men of Derry.
