Acerca del libro
All the photographs in this book were made in or around the Peak District National Park.
wood, water, rock,...light is about the ways that landscape can be transformed by simple changes, changes that reveal an alternate bond between familiar elements. The way the light falls, the mask of fog, the glare of the sun, the relationship of a stream to its banks, the position of a tree within the frame, nothing is random yet everything is a chance encounter.

I have been making photographs for nearly forty years. After graduating from Sheffield School of Art and Design (now Sheffield Hallam University) with a B.A. Hons I worked as a professional photographer and arts administrator. Although my working life diverged into other areas I have never stopped loving photography, and this book is a selection of my most recent work. Most of the images in 'wood, water, rock, ...light' are made with film cameras, either with a self-made 6x12cm panoramic camera or a 4"x5" field camera, and the rest are made with digital camera's.
