As an architect, Vina Lustado always wanted to design and build her own home, but she could not find a way to do it without a mortgage. After she found the Tiny House movement, Vina was able to build her own self-sufficient home for $35,000. In 140sf of interior living space, Vina's Tiny House embraces her core values of living simply and living lightly on this Earth.
This book is filled with 68 pages of photos during the construction process. It is a thorough documentation of building a house from scratch, beginning with the purchase of the 20' long utility trailer. With the help of her partner, and other local craftspeople, the construction was completed in 13 months. Its debut was at the Annual Green Home Tour in Ojai, where it was embraced by the community with open arms.
