In March of 2013, 27 members of the Peregrine Press created a portfolio of prints under the title, "Local Conditions," for the Southern Graphics Council International annual conference. Working in a variety of techniques, each artist made an edition of 10 prints, each 10 x 10 inches. The portfolio was curated by former Portland Museum of Art curator Susan Danly. This handsome catalog includes a curator's statement, an image of each artist's work, and a statement from each artist regarding their thoughts on the theme. For a fascinating cross-section of printmakers working in Maine, this book is a must-have.
