Through the years, national or ethnic groups have become increasingly marginalised. They are contained and managed by administrators; any self-representation is denied them. Many States treat them as a budgetary liability and even considered as unsustainable!
To propagate knowledge about these groups, a dedicated Virtual Museum is the only solution: a simple, specifically designed website where ethnic groups can present themselves without any interference from outsiders. This solution is now explored via the use of case-study on the Negritos of the Philippines in a museum and in an exhibition. Here they are NOT ignored; one is made aware of their proper history, their singular material culture and their intangible heritage, to wit, their culinary arts and their encyclopaedic knowledge of medicinal plants.
