The earth had suffered one more catastrophic event, pushing humanity to the very edge of extinction, forcing farmer Albert Guftree, and his sister to seek the simple existance they had once enjoyed as children.
However, a wandering minstrel and his old dog soon discovered that the passing of time changes all things, and our childish ideals can never satisfy or control our ambitions, be they human or the evolving world of robots.
Only the natural dependence of one wild creature apon another, together with the life giving property of water and the all consuming power of fire, are once more able to return the earth to sanity.
