Acerca del libro
The Netanya Winter Pond is a special place near my home where I have spent many happy hours relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature. It is a place of quiet in the midst of the city. It is a place of contemplation and prayer. It is a refuge for wildlife and a place to enjoy the glory of Israel's wildflowers. It is a place where I can let my dog run free. Recently the city has decided to develop it into a park and I am afraid that this relatively untouched remnant of nature will soon be destroyed by changes being made to its catchment and by the effects of excessive numbers of visitors and inappropriate use. For this reason I have over the course of the years 2007-8 recorded its changing character, its moods, its wildlife and its flowers.
