This is a book of poetry and photography by M.J. Adams. It is based on several years of his life, including his time in the US Air Force, his separation from the military and subsequent move to Scotland, and finally his decision to move back to England instead of the United States. Much of the poetry is based on imagery or Japanese style poetry and is based around the author's relationship with his wife, nature, or the world around him.

M.J. Adams is the son of grocers and grew up in a small town in Eastern Washington, USA. He admired and loved his music teacher throughout school and eventually started training to become a music teacher himself before having an emotional mental breakdown while attending University. He quit school, joined the United States Air Force and trained as an Explosives Ordnance Disposal technician, later quitting that training to enter into the field of Information Technology. After spending 8 years in this military field and having travelled around the world, he quit the military because of personal convictions about the War on Terror, especially because of the war in Iraq. He moved with his wife to Scotland and started to work on his writing, eventually settling near Norwich, England where he resides now.
