We are pleased to announce our "Second Course" to accompany our first cookbook. With overwhelming requests for a second cookbook, we now make it available to you. We hope you find our second edition even more valuable. We have taken your suggestions to heart, and you will see many new changes in this edition. We have setup this cookbook so that even if you haven't taken our course, you could essentially be "on program" by combining a recipe from each of our categories (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks). This essentially forms a "MEAL PLAN" for your day.
We opened K & G Wellness in April 2006. Our passion is sharing with others how to live a healthy lifestyle. We teach our class participants in the Nutrition For Life Course that a “diet” doesn’t work. A “diet” implies there will be a start and finish date. And, more than likely you will gain your weight lost back. To be healthy and manage your weight you truly need to learn how to deal with regular food and incorporate these foods into a lifestyle of eating. Since opening in 2006, through our classes, we have helped participants in our small community in losing over 68,000 pounds (as of June 2013).
Now, you too, can benefit from the way we have taught people how to eat without ever even taking our course by creating your own healthy meal plans by purchasing this cookbook.
