Acerca del creador
Carol Argyris has been living in the North of Scotland for the last 25 years during which time she has cared for her three children as they grew up, walked the beaches, written poetry, and opened a secondhand bookshop. Amongst the many boxes of books that came through the door into the shop was a poetry book; inside the book was a collection of newspaper cuttings. Each cutting was a short tale about fairies, or the famous and infamous folk who once lived in the north. The stories appealed to her sense of the absurd and she started looking for more, always preferring those with a strongly dramatic storyline and at least a hint of the supernatural. Some tales appeal to her because they show the frailties of human beings, their greed and their tragedies. Some because they show their indomitable spirit.
