Acerca del libro
Howard Bemis successfully ran a company in Springfield, MA, the Fiberloid Corporation, that manufactured an early cellulose nitrate plastic commonly known as celluloid. The photographs were taken by Howard from the 1890’s through the 1930’s. These striking images evoke another era. There are pictures of family gatherings, friends, travels, landscapes, and early automobiles. The beauty and romanticism of his pictures translate down through the generations depicting a time gone by but not forgotten.
