http://bangkoktales.blogspot.com/ presents:
One goes to Thailand to experience something exotic, something spiritual, something human, something different. Bangkok is a community of 12 million people, many of them are Buddhist.
Sparked with ceremonies like the parade leading up to "The Draping of Golden Mount," "The King's Birthday Celebration" that was attended by thousands of yellow shirt supporters, "Loy Krathong" in which we float away our troubles into the river, the gatherings of Buddhist monks to honor past Abbots at Wat Suthat, the neon signs and people of the nightlife in "Soi Cowboy" and "Nana Plaza," including having lunch with Meow who runs 11 beer bars during a bar blessing, to attending the "Thai Cowboy Festival" with The Blue Mountain Boys featuring Jeab, or wandering through the various marketplaces.
