The Cycle Messenger World Championships is the ultimate urban cycling competition. The strongest, smartest and fastest bike messengers from across the planet converge once a year to determine who is the very best. In 2012 Chicago hosted the 20th CMWC, at the historic Soldier Field complex in the heart of the city. Organizer and photographer Christopher Dilts was there to capture three days of racing, drinking, and the toughest urban cycling competition in the world.

Christopher Dilts is a Chicago-based editorial, documentary, and lifestyle photographer.

From May of 2011 to November 2012, Christopher was the Senior Photographer for Obama for America and President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.

He spent the majority of 2012 traveling with and photographing President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Dr. Jill Biden.

In January of 2013, he served as the Senior Photographer for the Presidential Inaugural Committee, documenting Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s second inauguration in Washington, D.C.

He has a lot of cats, track bikes, records, and chairs.
