Richard Boehner has contributed to multiple historical works and authored several local histories. He is also the photographer/author of several theatrical pictorials.

An actor, director and photographer, his stage credits include To Kill A Mockingbird, Rumors, Guys and Dolls, A Christmas Story, The Wizard of Oz, The Foreigner, Fiddler on the Roof ,Harvey,The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, On Golden Pond, Cats and The Cemetery Club.

He directed Stephen King’s Misery, Doubt and Over The River And Through The Woods for Robidoux Resident Theatre.

In 2010 he was nominated as best director for Doubt and again in 2011 for Over The River And Through The Woods. In 2012 He was nominated as Best Actor for his performance as Norman Thayer in On Golden Pond.

He lives in St. Joseph, Missouri with his wife, a daughter, a son, a son-in-law, three grandchildren and a dog named Jack, but not all in the same house.
