Douglas Walker is a Canadian sculptor based on Vancouver Island British Columbia. Working mainly with a variety of recycled objects he creates sculptures that can be described as whimsical and Goldberg-like. He is best known for turning discarded musical instruments such as tubas and trombones into water features. By melding and blending common cast-off objects, he has proven himself to be an accomplished sculptor whose designs are easily recognizable. Works created by Douglas can be found throughout North America, the UK and Australia.
