I was fortunate to be one of the 8,000 people to be chosen to carry the Olympic Flame on it's way to the London Olympics 2012. I tell the story of the day itself plus the events leading up to and after the great day.

Ex- Firefighter and civil servant. Married to Sue for forty three years, two sons Stuart and Michael and grandsons Oliver, Daniel, Toby, James and Alexander. Stuart had a daughter Grace who died aged 13 mths.
My first book was a snapshot of unusual experiences in my life. My latest was about my experience as a Torchbearer for the 2012 London Olympics.
