Kassie was born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey. After finishing her BA at Oberlin College, she continued her studies at Columbia University. In May 2013, Kassie will receive her MA in Health Education. Kassie's work primarily focuses on health literacy for young children (ages 3-6). She is developing her current work into a series.
