James B. Young is the former Executive Director of KHET-Hawaii Public Television, Hawaii's statewide PBS affiliate. During his tenure there he served as executive producer of several international television co-productions with the BBC Natural History Unit, National Geographic Society, and Liaoning TV, China. Young holds a BA in physics from Grinnell College and PhD in Engineering from the University of Michigan. Now semi-retired, he is pursuing his interests in writing and photography.
