The area covered from Milan to just north of Rome includes the great cities that were at the heart of the Italian Renaissance. The photographs in this book were taken in the course of eight visits to the region between 1981 and 2005. All have been scanned from 35 mm or 6 x 6 inch colour print or colour transparency film.
