This book -- an exegesis -- is an interpretation of a text, which in itself, is an interpretation of a text. "The Richard Scarry Projects" centers on a collection of writings by Gavin Christie, in which he studies and remembers the varying editions of "Richard Scarry's Best Word Book Ever," a book he has revered since early childhood.
To this seemingly mundane object of study, he brings the attention, care, and awe of a scribe or scholar.
