This 98-page edition centers on the early years of CSX (1987-1993) which also includes the Baltimore & Ohio and the Chessie System from the lenses of Rick Morrison, Bob Lemmert, and Bruce Fales. Beginning in Cumberland we'll travel down the Potomac River Valley to Cherry Run, then cross the Potomac River for Hagerstown and head east on the old Western Maryland's Lurgan Sub to Shippensburg. Also included is the bucolic South Branch Valley Railroad, Amtrak's Capitol Limited during the years of the F40's & Dome Cars with the Amtrak ICE Train too; the Berkeley Springs Branch, and the aftermath of the devastating head on collision of two Chessie System freight trains at Orleans Road. Was born in Cumberland, Maryland; and grew up in Oldtown, Maryland. Was a former CSX engineer between Cumberland & New Castle, PA., and now an Amtrak Engineer on the Capitol Limited between Washington, DC and Cumberland. He and his wife Candice, live in Severn, Maryland. This is his 3rd book.
