I wanted to see the Himalayan Mountains, especially Mount Everest! On my trek in Nepal, I had the opportunity to not only see Mount Everest, but other major peaks too. I also met local Sherpas and members of expedition teams each with his/her own story. This book is my story; April 2001 remains memorable!

I hope you'll enjoy this book of my wonderful trip in Nepal in 2001. Fellow trekkers and the local people I met as I hiked the mountain trails in the Himalayan area will always remain memorable.
