This is an edited compilation of oil paintings and graphite drawings that is available to the public for purchase. It is the story of a child who encounters a magical music box.
Alexandra Spingarn studied painting at the Art Student's League of New York with Harry Sternberg and Arnold Blanch. She worked at Pratt Graphics Art Center with Dr.Fritz Eichenberg, Andy Stasik , Benton Sprunace and Irwin Hollander in1964-69. At Harvard University she completed a BA in Classics (95)and MA in Renaissance Art and Architecture (2000). She has painted in oils and made lithographs for over 50 years exhibiting in the US and Europe in over 60 shows. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts in America. She has two sons and three grandchildren whom she loves to paint about.
