Josephine Herrick Project (formerly Rehabilitation Through Photography) has been enhancing lives through the power of photography for over 70 years. We are a nonprofit who help individuals without a voice in society connect with their communities. Providing free classes, cameras and instructors to our programs, our hope is to change lives visually, verbally and emotionally.

All of the photographs in this book were taken by students in our many programs throughout the NYC area. These programs include The Brooklyn Veterans Hospital, Birch Family Services,The Block Institute, and many more.
