Within graphite & graffiti’s bookends, the concepts of philosophizing love and humanity, mathematics, and multi-media transmogrify over the course of its pages and accompanied recordings. The goal of graphite and graffiti is not to satiate one’s appetite for words, rather to provoke the opposite, literally egging the reader on… in search of gluttonous wordplay in his or her daily existence. The printed text offers the most formal, poetic format, whereas a recitation affords more context to the poetry, thereby creating a deeper subtext, propelling audiences even further into the reverberating dominion of syllabic sound.
