Through abstraction, these two architecture projects focus on the story behind the chemical gas mass murders in Halabja, Kurdistan and the Kurdish political border. The process occurs through a multi-media exploration that highlights the plight of the Kurds geographically and through expression of identity. The generated topography of Halabja is reborn from the layers of bodies that continue as a path, which helps define the boundaries of Kurdistan. The bodies became a trace on the land that intervene to raise a method of remembering the dead on the Kurdish terrain. These design solutions interlock the plight of the Kurd through architectural intervention, which recollect the absence of the dead bodies and address issues of topographic politics identity.
