This book, Letters To Grandpa, is a compilation of letters written by Gordon Berntson's 16 grandchildren, as well as over 90 pictures of his family over the course of nearly 40 years of grandparenting. It is in memory and honor of his wife, Norma, gone on to glory in 2010, and of his daughter Ruth, passed in 2009, and daughter-in-law Pam, just recently left for heaven in summer of 2012.

this new book, Letters to Grandpa and Grandma Madsen, has a companion for my family, Letters To Grandpa, honoring my husband's father, and features letters from his 16 grandchildren. These two books, written as the grandparents are in their 80's, are gifts to help spark memories of the past, and allowed the grandkids to reflect on and share their thoughts with their grandparents; love, stories, thankfulness, and joy in being part of a loving family. My hope is the books are a loving tribute, and treasured keepsakes for the lives of the folks involved, and their descendants, as well.
