The Bathurst 1000 race has always held a special place on both the World motorsport calendar and in my own heart and I always used to watch the race highlights every year on television with my father.

Television coverage has improved over the years and we now get to see the entire race which only fueled my desire and my dream of actually being at Mount Panorama for the Great Race.

In 2009 that dream became a reality when I travelled to Bathurst to experience the race first hand and this book is a record of my visit to Mount Panorama for the SUPERCHEAP AUTO Bathurst 1000
