This book is a photo essay of a friend's work during the final year of a Bachelor of Visual Art degree at the Adelaide Central School of Art, 2012. Part photojournalism, part colourful abstraction, the images document the experience in chronological order from assignment formulation to graduate exhibition.

By profession I am an architect. By inclination I am a photographer. I find the two influences to be complimentary.
I like to keep my architectural images simple and my landscapes in the classic style. One day I hope to grow out of that and do really interesting stuff.
But for the time being I am fascinated by line, form, pattern and colour and the interplay of these with the image boundary. In this regard contemporary architecture provides me with endless inspiration. If the architecture and my concept of the finished image don’t align then digital manipulation can fix it.
