Will and Mary were living in Halton, England, with seven children to care for, and few resources when they decided to take the course of their lives into their own hands and move to America. The story of their new life in the land of milk and honey begins on May 8th 1912, when Will and Mary and their children, stepped off the train in Flushing Michigan, and into a new world.
"When Halton Was Home" is my second self-published book on family history, and my first Blurb book. The experience has been great fun and, I believe, well worth the effort. I'm currently planning another book on a family history which should be ready by next spring.
