In October, 2012, we undertook a photographic journey clockwise around Iceland. Located near the Arctic Circle where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, Iceland is a country of contrasts. Less than 2 hours flying time from Europe, with a population of only about 330,000 (most of whom live in Reykjavik), the landscape has a wild beauty and pristine remoteness. We hope our photographs convey some of its magic.
After a 30 year career as an Interior Architect, Robyn has turned her attention to art, print making and photography. Married to award winning documentary film maker and adventurer, Michael Dillon, she shares Michael's passion for travel, the Australian bush and the outback and the people of the Himalaya.
