Jay M. Ressler is an artist and resident of Lawrenceville (Pittsburgh), PA. He currently earns a living as a machinist, but over the years has worked as an underground coal miner, steelworker, and heavy equipment operator.
He is active in several local arts organizations including Pittsburgh Society of Artists (of which he is an officer), Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, and Art Association of Harrisburg.
He has received a number of awards for photographs and encaustic paintings he has exhibited.
