This full color catalog documents the exhibition Forged in MEtal: Deshi/Shisyou- Mentee/Mentor. Held in the United States in 2012, Forged in Metal, displayed the artwork of Japanese students and their teachers from Hiko Mizuno Jewelry College,Tokyo, Japan. This juried exhibition showcased the merging of traditional techniques with contemporary approaches while exploring the modern role of the mentor and the influences students and teachers have on one another's creative process.
