My academic and curatorial career involved examining centuries of high style favored by elite and intellectual circles. As a jewelry designer, I aim to create pieces that meet this level of sophistication without being "period" or familiar to my eye in any way. My work is the product of an encyclopedic knowledge of adornment and a vivid imagination.
