Signs of Life
Vol 1: Guns, Gambling & God
A collection of impressions from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas & Missouri
Signs, an array of messages ranging from the profound to the mundane that have subtlety come to infiltrate our daily lives and influence our personal experiences.
Life, the essence of a place - it’s people and lifestyles, traditional values, overgrown lawns, abandoned dwellings, forgotten lives, distant places and times.
Each image has it’s own tale and lifetime, it’s own culture, reasoning and story, each beautiful in it’s own way.

Sara Wilkins is a designer and artist. She began her career as a set designer for the BBC before focusing on the design of permanent interiors for shops, restaurants, offices, colleges, casinos and stadiums around the world. On her first visit to Oklahoma in 2007 Sara was inspired by the people, traditions and iconic visuals of the mid west of America. This was the seed of an idea which has become Signs of Life - Vol 1: Guns, Gambling & God. Since then she has travelled globally collecting images for this ongoing project. Vol 1 is the first published book in the series and Sara is excited to bring it to the public.
