Acerca del libro
Phone Call to SINATRA is a true story. It actually happened back in the year 1970 when the renowned entertainer appeared in two London charitable concerts at the Royal Festival Hall along with the great Count Basie Band.
Three brothers, living north of London and devoted fans of the singer, decide to contact him by phone after discovering where he is staying. Their main objective is to hopefully arrange a meeting to discuss with him their appreciation and love of his music over the years. Also, if possible, to obtain tickets, which prove almost impossible to obtain, for one of his shows?
The journey along the way is thwarted with unforeseen obstacles before they finally achieve some partial success in accomplishing their mission, even though at times by using, to say the least, some very unusual methods.

I started out in life as a young lad engaged on the Lord's Cricket Ground Staff as a professional cricketer and played a half dozen or so games there before entering the RAF to do my national service. Upon release from the Air Force, I took up cricket coaching and also as a groundsman for several cricket clubs. After my marriage, I went into selling insurance before finally retiring. I took up writing then and have written various books on cricket, mostly novels. I plan to write more in the future.
