Having dived some very interesting wrecks in some fantastic locations. Historic wrecks on Tasmania's east and west coasts, and Bass Strait, NSW and Qld and Bali.
But nothing prepared me for the legendary Truk Lagoon (Chuuk) It is a place I have known of and read about for years and I had doubts that I would ever have the chance to realise my dream of diving the Ghost Fleet at the bottom of the lagoon.
With my work at Eaglehawk Dive Centre being spazmodic during winter I convinced some of my friends to join me for a dive expedition.
The following book is my small contribution to a fantastic group of friends who shared the adventure and made the trip such a special memory.
