Ric Washington aka RICWAS is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and is the product of loving parents and a large family. He attended the historic Charles Sumner High School and graduated in 1975. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Kansas City Art Institute and School of Design in Kansas City, Missouri.

Settling in Atlanta, Georgia, he enhanced his skills as an artist, photographer, and environmental graphics designer. Mr. Washington currently maintains his studio as GP Creative Studios, LLC, a company he established in 1993. The creative production studio provides graphic art and publication design products and services to clients throughout North America. He is actively pursuing his craft as a fine art painter and print maker.
